Founder of US computer technology company Microsoft, has revealed that he still prefers Android phones to Apple's iPhones.

In an interview with Andrew Ross and Apple co-founder Paul Davidson on Apple's audio chat-only application 'Clubhouse', Bill Gates said that having Android and Microsoft in one place means that the devices he uses is basically Android.

"I really use an Android phone and I want to keep track of everything," Gates said. I often enjoy iPhones but the phone I have with me is Android based.

He added, “Some Android phone companies are already installing Microsoft software in a way that makes it easier for me to connect, the result is that I'm used to it,” "You know, a lot of my friends have an iPhone, so there's nothing sophisticated about it."

Microsoft tried to introduce its phone under the name of Windows Phone but due to lack of applications, eventually abandoned the project. Microsoft has also partnered with Google to develop a foldable Android phone called the Surface Duo. Since then, Microsoft has become more integrated with other mobile phone makers, such as Samsung, he told.

Further revealing the details, he said, The Korean mobile phone company uses Microsoft's application 'Your Phone'. The application provides connectivity between smartphones and mobile phones equipped with Windows 10 from 2019, similarly the Apple's mobile phone operating system and computer system connect.

Samsung had also made a Microsoft version of its Galaxy S8 mobile phone in 2017, which included applications and services such as Microsoft's Office, OneDrive, Outlook and Cortana, he thought.

Although the founder of Microsoft was interviewed at Club House, the application only works on Apple's operating devices for mobile phones, namely iPhones and iPads. However, Davidson said that the Android version of the application Manufacturing is one of the company's top priorities.

With iPhones occupying 45% of the US market, Android is the most used mobile phone operating system in the world. More than 70% of people use the Android system on Samsung, Huawei, OnePlus or Google devices due to the high cost of Apple devices and the widespread availability of cheap mobile phones in countries like India and China.
