PM to inaugurate olive plantation campaign in Nowshera today
Islamabad: Prime Minister Imran Khan will launch olive plantation campaign in Nowshera district on Monday (today). The olive plantation is part of ten billion tree tsunami program.
On the occasion, the Prime Minister will be briefed about the olive plantation and also address the event.
The initiative is government's efforts to promote olive cultivation which will not only make the farmers prosper but also help save foreign exchange.
Earlier on Sunday, the premier posted a video on his official twitter handle that was shared by the World Economic Forum (WEF) in which it praised Pakistan’s environmental policies, climate action plan, and response to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
The effectiveness of PTI’s "Green Recovery Program" and "Climate Action Plan" in combating the environmental policies of the Corona (COVID-19) is being recognized globally, the caption read.
