Islamabad: Federal Minister for Science and Technology, Fawad Chaudhry has reacted to couple being expelled from a private university of Lahore after public proposal.
Taking to twitter, the federal minister wrote marrying person of choice is a fundamental right of every girl.
“Among the rights given by Islam to women, right to marry person of choice is the most basic one. The university administration should reconsider its decision,” he said.
Fawad further wrote that considering girls as property is against Islam.
