According to GNN, PM’s COVID-19 test came negative on Tuesday.

Prime Minister Imran Khan has "fully recovered" from the coronavirus, PTI Senator Faisal Javed Khan said on Tuesday.

"On the advice of doctors and in accordance with national and international guidelines, he (Imran) has temporarily resumed official work," Khan tweeted.

Earlier, the premier's positive diagnosis was announced 10 days ago, on March 20.

The news was confirmed by Special Assistant to Prime Minister (SAPM) on Health, Dr Faisal Sultan on his twitter account.

“PM Imran Khan has tested positive for Covid-19 and is self-isolating at home,” he shared.

Country on Tuesday reported 4,084 new Covid-19 cases and 100 deaths, the highest single-day fatality count since July, with authorities linking the uptick in numbers to the third wave of the deadly outbreak across the country.

According to National Command and Operations Centre (NCOC), around 4,084 cases of coronavirus were reported while 100 people succumbed to the disease in the last 24 hours, taking the total death toll to 14,356.

The total number of confirmed cases reached to 663,200.

As many as 600,278 patients have recovered from the disease with 3,170 critical cases.
