Mexico City: A 6.0 magnitude earthquake shook the southern Mexican state of Guerrero, with no loss of life or damage reported.

The USGS said the earthquake’s epicenter was 2.5 miles (4 kilometers) northwest of Corral Falso. It was at a depth of about 10 kilometers (6.2 miles).

President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador tweeted a video of a live conversation with Guerrero Gov., Evelyn Salgado, in which she said there were no reports of casualties or damages.

On September 22, at least two people died in a magnitude 6.8 earthquake that struck Mexico’s Michoacan state.
