The actor took to her Instagram to share news of him being COVID-19 positive while sharing a translation of a Quranic verse, saying, "My Corona test is positive and I will quarantine myself at home."

The Artist also appealed to his fans for prayers and said that “may Allah bless us all with the best healing, Amen, we need your good wishes and prayers.”

It may be recalled that earlier several actors of the showbiz industry have recovered from the coronavirus including Mahira Khan, Amna Ilyas, Usman Mukhtar and others.

Earlier, Pakistan has reported 4,681 Covid-19 cases and 135 deaths in one day as the third wave of the pandemic continued to rage across the country.

According to National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), around 4,681 cases of coronavirus were reported while 135 people succumbed to the disease in the last 24 hours, taking the total death toll to 15,754.

The total number of confirmed cases reached 734,423.

As many as 641,912 patients have recovered from the disease with 4,216 critical cases.

Punjab                                             

The number of patients swelled to 255,571 in the province with 7,141 causalities.

Sindh

The number of infections has surged to 269,840 in the province, while the death toll has reached 4,530.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

The confirmed cases have surged to 101, 041 in the province with 2,732 casualties.

Balochistan

There are 20,499 confirmed cases while 219 patients have died from the infection so far.

AJK and Gilgit-Baltistan

There are 14,837 coronavirus cases in the AJK while the death toll has reached 410. On the other hand, there are 5,140 cases in GB with 103 coronavirus deaths.

Islamabad

There are 67,491 cases in the capital city while 619 people have lost their lives.
