Viewers pick Imran Khan as 'personality of the week' in Al-Jazeera news competition
Islamabad: Prime Minister Imran Khan has been voted as Al Jazeera's 'personality of the week' for his views and efforts to address the issue of Islamophobia.
According to details, PM was picked as 'personality of the week' by the viewers of Al-Jazeera weekly program ‘Sibaq-ul-Akhbar’, which is a weekly program that runs for an hour in Arabic on Al Jazeera.
It is a live, interactive program which is very famous in Arab countries.
The channel selects the week's three to four top news and asks viewers to vote for which top news story is associated with a certain personality.
PM Imran Khan secured 56% votes on the Sibaq-ul-Akhbar programme telecasted on 24th of this month.
