On Wednesday night, the Super Flower Blood Moon will be seen on what will be the brightest and the darkest night sky. The week’s full moon will be the second supermoon of the season, brighter and larger than it usually is. It has been estimated that the moon will be 222,000 miles from Earth.

Flower Moon is the term used for the full moon in May, and with the total lunar eclipse, the celestial body will have a reddish hue.

According to astronomers, the best views of the Super Flower Blood Moon will be visible from western North America, western South America, East Asia and Oceania.

Wednesday will mark the first lunar eclipse of the decade. The last one was recorded on January 21, 2019.

The next lunar eclipse, albeit a partial one, will be visible on November 19, 2021.
