Stock market bullish, passes 47,000 benchmark after 44 months

Karachi: Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) crossed 47,000 index level during the trading session on Wednesday. The Index opened the session on a positive note and accumulated nearly 400 points in a strong intra-day rally.

The positive trend in stock market is mainly due to COVID-19 vaccine being publicly rolled out. During the day investors earned turnover of Rs80 billion with 3,204,386,519 shares being traded and positive trend of 0.76 percent was witnessed.
