Rawalpindi: Pakistani team had a disappointing start with a loss of two wickets, as it resumed their innings on day two of the second and final Test match against South Africa at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.

Pakistani team had a disappointing start with a loss of two wickets, as they resumed their innings with seven wickets in hand and 145 runs on the score board.

Soon after, the Green Shirts lost two wickets of Fawad Alam (run out by Temba Bavuma) and Babar Azam (Catch Faf du Plessis, Bowl by Anrich Nortje).

Pakistan lost its sixth wicket of Muhammad Rizwan at 190 runs. Faheem Ashraf remained the top scorer for Pakistan with a smashing 78 not out.

Earlier yesterday, Maharaj dismissed Imran Butt (15) and Azhar Ali (0) in successive overs. Abid Ali (6) was removed by Anrich Nortje.

The Green Caps had retained their winning combination from the first Test. South Africa made one change as Wiaan Mulder replaced Lungi Ngidi. Pakistan had defeated South Africa in the first Test at the National Stadium Karachi (NSK) by 7 wickets.
