Murad Ali Shah to unveil Sindh’s annual budget for Year 2021-22 today
Karachi: Sindh will announce its annual budget for the fiscal year 2021-22 with an outlay of over Rs 1,400 billion in the provincial assembly today.
According to GNN, the Chief Minister of Sindh, Murad Ali Shah will unveil the no-tax budget in the provincial legislature today.
The provincial budget for the year 2021-22, proposes a 20 percent raise in salaries of the government employees while 10 percent raise in retired employees pensions. Rs 250 billion have been allocated for the annual development program.
The minimum wage for the laborers is expected to be set at Rs25,000, sources revealed.
The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP)-led government will propose allocations of Rs250 billion for the Annual Development Programme, Rs172 billion for health, Rs240 billion for education, and Rs119 for local governments.
