Land dispute between two tribes, 20 injured in Kurram shooting
Rocket attack was also carried out by group in which father and son were injured
Kurram: 20 people were injured in exchange of firing between two tribes over a property dispute in Kurram district.
According to the police and the district administration, firing took place over a land dispute between tribes living in Bushehr and Malikhel areas of the Kurram district, in which automatic weapons were used.
The police stated that a rocket attack was also carried out by a group in which a father and son were injured while a total of 20 people from both sides were injured in the clash and have been shifted to the hospital.
Deputy Commissioner Javedullah said that efforts are ongoing for a ceasefire.The leaders of the parties should also play their role in the ceasefire.
