Fazl, Maryam discuss future course of action
Islamabad: Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman met Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Vice President Maryam Nawaz to discuss future course of action.
According to GNN, PML-N leader visited the residence of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Fazl (JUI-F) Chief where both sides discussed various aspects of upcoming long march.
Both leaders agreed to put up proposals related to the long march in the steering committee meeting of PDM for final decision.
Moreover, strategies to ensure success of joint candidates in Senate elections and no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Imran Khan was also the part of agenda.
On February04, PDM announced it will stage a long march against the incumbent PTI government on March 26.
After almost six hours of long meeting, speaking to reporters PDM leader Maulana Fazlur Rehman said the opposition parties in PDM will contest the upcoming Senate elections together.
It is pertinent to mention here that PDM is staging an anti-government movement against what it terms rigging in general elections of 2018.
