According to the foreign news agency, the European Union, Australia, Canada, Italy, Germany, Japan, Saudi Arabia, UAE and Qatar have also supported the joint ceasefire proposal presented by France and the United States.
According to the French news agency (AFP), a US official said on condition of anonymity that Lebanon and Israel are expected to decide within the next few hours whether to accept the ceasefire proposal.
