As per details, two children are among 18 people confirmed dead in deadly building collapse.

The bodies of 10-year old and a 4-year old girls were found Wednesday and both were sisters.

So far, total 145 people remain unaccounted for after 55 units of Champlain Towers crashed.

Meanwhile, the number of victims recovered grew by six on Wednesday.

As hundreds of rescuers keep digging through the precarious mountain of rubble, some are trying to reconcile hope with realism.

Reportedly, the beachfront condo building partially collapsed last Thursday outside Miami, trapping several others in the tower.

Authorities did not know how many people were in the tower when it fell.

Rescue teams reached the spot after getting information to carry out rescue operations.

An official stated that ten people were treated at the scene and two were brought to the hospital, one of whom died.

“15 families walked out of the building on their own,” he added.

Video footage posted online showed a large portion of the building which is reduced to rubble, with the apartments’ interiors exposed.
