According to details, the government media office for the Emirati capital announced that this decree will take effect from August 20.

The public places that are to be opened for vaccinated people only include restaurants, cafes, shopping malls, gyms and recreational places, etc.

People who have refused to get vaccinated will also be prohibited from resorts, museums, theme parks, nurseries, universities, and schools.

The decision was made after the Abu Dhabi Emergency’s Crisis and Disasters Committee vaccinated 93% groups in the emirate for retaining public health.

This decision will not be implemented on unvaccinated people who are exempted from an approved vaccination process, and children aged 15 and under.

Dubai, it seems will not be following the same decree, keeping in view its dependency on tourism.

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) boasts to be one of the world’s highest vaccination rates. Initially, UAE vaccinated the public with the Chinese Sinopharm, recently though many other vaccinations have also been introduced.

Regardless of possessing one of the highest number of vaccinated residents, UAE has still been getting 2000 new cases every day for the past several weeks. At the beginning of this month, UAE promised booster shot for people who have been received the two jabs of Sinopharm.
