Justice Aminuddin Khan to take oath as the first Chief Justice of the Federal Constitutional Court of Pakistan today.
Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari will administer the oath at the Islamabad High Court building.
The president approved Justice Aminuddin’s appointment as the inaugural chief justice of the Federal Constitutional Court last night, after which the Ministry of Law issued the formal notification.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif had sent the advice for the appointment to the president. Justice Aminuddin also heads the constitutional bench formed under the 26th constitutional amendment.
