Security forces gun down proscribed group’s commander
The suspect was also involved in attacks on security forces and civilians.
Mastung: Security forces Sunday gunned down a local commander of an outlawed outfit during a security operaton in Kanak Kalay Mehrab area of Balochistan’s Mastung.
As per details, the man identified as Mumtaz was nominated in dozens of cases and had a bounty of five million rupees on his head.
Security forces, based on an intelligence tip-off, reached his hideout and recovered ammunition in large quantities from the slain.
The suspect was also involved in attacks on security forces and civilians.
Earlier, a suspected terrorist was killed during an intelligence-based operation near Dosali in North Waziristan, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said Sunday.
“The terrorist was shot dead during an exchange of fire,” said ISPR.
Military’s media wing told that huge cache of explosives and weapons have been seized from his possession.
The suspected terrorist, however, has not been identified.
