Rawalpindi: Two Federal Corps (FC) personnel along two police constables embraced martyrdom in an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) blast in Dabrai, Bajaur District last night, said military’s media wing.

According to Inter-Services Public Relation (ISPR), during operation, an IED exploded and four personnel embraced Shahadat.

These personnel included two FC soldiers Lance Naik Mudassir and Sepoy Jamshed and two police Constables Abdul Samad and Noor Rehman.

The area has been cordoned off, aiming to eliminate any terrorists in the area.

Yesterday, a Pakistan army soldier embraced martyrdom after terrorists targeted the Security Forces post in Thall, Hangu District.

According to a statement released by ISPR an ambush led by terrorists opened fire on a security checkpost at Thall.

Troops, however, initiated a prompt response but one sepoy embraced martyrdom while resisting the sudden attack.

Hailing from Mansehra, Sepoy Waqas (26) resisted the terrorism with valor, said ISPR.
