Islamabad: Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed has returned to Pakistan from United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Saturday morning, skipping most anticipated Pak-Indo match.

 

The federal minister was called back by the Prime Minister Imran Khan, to deal with the ongoing security situation in the country.

 

The Opposition parties and the banned outfit Tehreek-e-Labaik Pakistan (TLP) have organized separate protests in different urban communities of the nation, causing Islamabad, Lahore and Rawalpindi being shut down.

 

The interior minister had gone to the UAE to watch the blockbuster Pakistan-India T20 World Cup match, selated on Sunday (Tomorrow).

 

A few days back, speaking to correspondents Sheikh had said Imran Khan had sanctioned his request for a two-day holiday to watch the game live in the UAE.

 

Conversely, Khan urged the interior minister to return to the country to tackle the ongoing situation in Pakistan.
