Social media platform X issued a statement regarding its shutdown in Pakistan.

The statement issued released by X stated that it will continue to work with the Pakistani government to understand their concerns.

It is pertinent to note that the Ministry of Interior said in its report submitted to the Islamabad High Court (IHC) yesterday that it was necessary to ban social media platform X. The shutdown of X is not a violation of the constitutional right of expression.

In this regard, the Sindh High Court (SHC) ordered the Ministry of Interior to withdraw the letter of shutdown of X.

Karachi: A plea has heard against the K-Electric on sending the bill of higher prices despite having the meter in Sindh high court (SHC).

SHC expressed indignation on K-Electric and inquired the company’s lawyer that why did he not solve the applicant’s matter.

The company’s lawyer replied that the applicant did not come to the department.

On which the applicant stated that when the company sent the bill of higher prices then they did not come to him. The company sent the excessive bill for four times since 2018 and it was more than Rs4,00000.

Later then the court directed the K-Electric officials to meet the citizen and solve this problem.

Karachi: District and session court has issued notices to parties on plea to register case against Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s (PML-N) leader Rana Sanaullah.

According to the details, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) lawyers form Sindh’s vice president filed a plea to register case against Rana Sanaullah in court. In the plea, the station police and station head officer have become parties in the plea.

It is stated in the plea that the interview of Rana Sanaullah was heard on many media channels and social media platforms in which he threatened to kill PTI’s founder Imran Khan.

The applicant pleaded that the court should direct the police to register the case against Rana Sanaullah.

Later then the court postponed the hearing till May 20 and issued notices to station police and station head officer Malir.
