PM Shehbaz reconstitutes CCI
In that council, four higher ministers will be included as members.
Islamabad: Prime minister Shehbaz Sharif has reconstituted Secretariat of common council interests (CCI). After the approval of Shehbaz Sharif the notification has been issued.
According to the details, its first time in the history that foreign minister has been included in CCI instead of finance minister.
In accordance with the notification, eight-member CCI’s chairman will be Shehbaz Sharif. In that council, four higher ministers will be included as members.
Foreign minister Ishaq Dar is included in CCI as member. Defense minister Khawaja Asif, minister Safiran Ameer Muqam is also included in CCI.

Gujranwala: Uncle, aunt torture seven-year-old to death
The police stated that the children's parents are in jail on drug charges.
Gujranwala: A seven-year-old child died due to the alleged violence of his uncle and aunt.
According to the police, uncle and aunt allegedly severely tortured their young nephews, as a result of which seven-year-old Sultan died and two-year-old Saqlain was injured in Gondlanwala, area of Gujranwala.
The police stated that the children's parents are in jail on drug charges.
When the incident took place, the uncle took the injured child to the hospital and claimed that he was injured in a traffic accident, added police.
According to the police, seeing the nature of the injuries on the child's body, the doctors called the police, while the child could not succumb to the injuries and died in the hospital.
Police continued that a case has been registered and the accused husband and wife have been arrested.

Liaqat Baloch asks CM Punjab to hold municipal elections in Punjab

Islamabad: Jamaat-e-Islami’s (JI) leader Liaqat Baloch has asked chief minister (CM) Punjab Maryam Nawaz to hold municipal elections in Punjab.
According to the details, Liaqat Baloch issued a statement regarding the municipal elections in Punjab.
JI’s leader stated that the economic crisis will be deepened in case of increase in taxes, petrol prices, gas and electricity.
He said that provincial governments should make the municipal institutions more powerful and take out their selves from municipal activities.
Liaqat Baloch demanded that the new federal and provincial governments should release innocent prisoners especially women. All the stakeholders should have to come on one page to get rid of terrorism.
