Ghotki: A ban was imposed on cultivation around Motorway-M5, in Ghotki district.

According to the notification, in view of the law and order situation in Ghotki district, a ban has been imposed on sugarcane cultivation up to 1500 meters on both sides of the highway.

Officials said that because of the sugarcane crop, the bandits easily target the police, due to which the officers are facing problems.

Apart from this, there are police check-posts on Sukkur-Multan Motorway-M5 from location 437 to 505 for safety.

Lahore: The Lahore high court’s (LHC) chief justice Malik Shehzad Ahmed Khan has sent the former federal minister Fawad Chaudhry’s plea to extend the security bail of two-member bench. 

According to the details, chief justice Malik Shehzad Ahmed Khan heard the case. Fawad Chaudhry appeared in the court along with his wife Hiba Fawad. 

It is stated in the plea that LHC had approved the security bail in 36 cases of the applicant. The court ordered to extend the interim bails in all cases. 

Chief justice Malik sent the case file to two-member bench headed by the justice Aaliyah Neelam. The court said that Fawad can approach the two-member bench today (Wednesday). 

Lahore: The information minister Punjab Azma Zahir Bokhari stated that the breakfast will be provided to 5,00000 children of the school in south Punjab. 

According to the details, Azam was talking to media regarding the beginning to provide the breakfast project. 

She said that emergency pink helpline is a rare project in itself. This helpline is not only for women but also for the weak groups of the society. Pink helpline will be connected to the control system of police. 

Information minister Punjab also said that whatever hospital are under construction will be becoming the state of the art. The new technology will be used in it. 

Azma added that it will be assured to have greenery on both sides of highways and roads. There will be a challan of those vehicles that emit the smoke. The work is going on the artificial rain and green campaign in Punjab.
