Jamil Ahmed and Fahim Khan have both were asked by reporters on Saturday on whose instructions they carried out the sting operation, on which they replied that party narrative on the issue will be made public soon.
"We are Imran Khan's soldiers," they said, admitting that they were in the video. "We did not make the video on anyone's instructions," Jamil Ahmed told the members of the press. "We have taken no money. We will go before Election Commission, our conscience is clear," he said.
On the eve of the crucial senate elections, a video allegedly showing Ali Gillani, the son of eventual winner Yousuf Raza Gillani, was leaked. Ali Gillani could be seen telling MNAs how to waste their votes. In a press conference on the same night, Ali admitted that he was in the video, however he denied any talk of buying votes.
