Pervaiz Elahi requests PM Imran to remain cautious of aides

Lahore: Speaker of Punjab Assembly Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi on Sunday has said that it is requested to Prime Minister Imran Khan stay away from his advisers.
Talking to the media, the PML-Q leader said that some information says that PTI members are being stopped from going to the media. “PTI is showing its concern of stopping its members to some specific channels. In this way, PTI would not be able to put forward its stance before masses in a balanced way,” he added.
He said that freedom of expression is the beauty of democracy so Prime Minister, as well as the party leadership, are requested to reconsider their decision. “We request to Prime Minister Imran Khan and other party leaders or reviewing its decision. It is surprising that why some media houses are being targeted by PTI,” he maintained.
Pervaiz Elahi said that Prime Minister Imran Khan has given him the responsibility of settling matters between media houses and the government regarding the PECA ordinance.
