Islamabad: Senior Pakistan Muslim League (Quaid e Azam) leader and Federal Minister Tariq Bashir Cheema has called on Prime Minister Imran Khan, GNN reported on Wednesday.

According to details, the federal minister called on Prime Minister to discuss the current political scenario.

The PML-Q leader also discussed future political cooperation with the premier.

According to sources, the PML-Q signaled to take the side of the opposition for the first time when government members broke up.

During the meeting, Tariq Bashir Cheema said that if your 15-20 members were broken then we too would be forced to go with the opposition.

While expressing Party's reservations, the PML-Q leader has informed the Prime Minister that it stands by the government in matters of unity but if its members are left then we can formulate a new policy.

In the meantime, the Tarin group has called a meeting again today. Sources said that the PML-N leadership contacted Aun Chaudhry of the Tareen group. Other members of the group will be briefed on contact details at the meeting.

On the other hand, Prime Minister Imran Khan is due to meet the leaders of the coalition parties amid rising pressure in the current political scenario by the opposition's no-confidence motion, during his one-day visit to Karachi today.

According to member Sindh Assembly Arsalan Taj, Prime Minister will hold a meeting with Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan (MQM-P) Rabita Committee members in the wake of the no-trust motion submitted by the opposition against PM Imran Khan.

He further said that the Prime Minister will also chair a meeting of the Sindh advisory council of his party.

PM Imran is also scheduled to address party leaders and workers during the meeting.
