PPP won three chairmen, one vice chairman, and four ward member seats


Karachi: According to unofficial and unconfirmed results of 9 out of 10 local government seats in Karachi, the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) won 8 seats.
The PPP won three chairmen, one vice chairman, and four ward member seats. The Jamaat-e-Islami candidate won two seats. The chairman and vice-chairman seats in Sukkur UC 29 were scored by PPP. The PPP's position was also stable in Ghotki and Tando Muhammad Khan.
In Shikarpur, the JUI candidate won the chairman seat of Union Council Mahmuda Bagh. In Hyderabad also, the PPP succeeded in winning two chairman and one vice chairman seats.
The party workers celebrated the victory of the PPP candidates, and outside various polling stations, workers set off dances, and fireworks were also displayed.
