The pressure on the government of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has intensified further as another member National Assembly from Balochistan decided to quit the Imran-led coalition.

Quetta: The National Assembly member Muhammad Aslam Bhootani has parted ways with the ruling coalition ahead of the no-confidence motion against the Prime Minister Imran Khan.
The pressure on the government of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has intensified further as another member National Assembly from Balochistan decided to quit the Imran-led coalition.
Bhootani has joined hands with Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) in its efforts to oust the Imran Khan through a no-trust motion.
He announced his decision while addressing a press conference in Islamabad alongside PPP Co-Chairperson Asif Ali Zardari and Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.
Mr Aslam was elected as an independent MNA from NA-272 Gwadar-Lasbela constituency in 2018 general elections after obtaining 70,000 votes — the highest in Balochistan.
Bhootani had earlier been the deputy speaker of the Balochistan Assembly in 2002.
He is the younger brother of the former caretaker chief minister of Balochistan Muhammad Saleh Bhootani.
The decision came amidst ongoing political turmoil in the country.
Earlier in the day, MNA Chaudhry Asim Nazir from Faisalabad joined Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and resigned from the post of Parliamentary Secretary.
It is pertinent to mention here that Chaudhry Asim Nazir had joined Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in 2018. Before that, he had been a member of National Assembly three times from NA-77.
The announcement from the two lawmakers came as a jolt to ruling PTI.
On Sunday, Shahzain Bugti also announced his resignation from the federal cabinet and announced his supports towards PPP.
