Las Vegas: The global sensation, BTS, who made history as the longest-running No 1 act on the Billboards music charts for their smash-hit 'Butter', scored just one nod—getting snubbed in major categories for their acclaimed song.

The K-POP band went up against tough competition at this year’s awards, including Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga, and the category’s eventual winner, Doja Cat and SZA’s “Kiss Me More.”

Following their loss in the Best Pop Duo/ Group Performance category, #Scammys has begun to trend on social media as defeat ignited the ever-vigilant BTS fans known as Army—who started calling the outcome a robbery.

Taking to social media, fans have called for a boycott of the Grammys after the loss

The one of the biggest fandom is reacting in unexpected ways, with ScammyGrammys trending big time on Twitter and while they are upset, they are also proud of their boys for showcasing brilliance to the rest of the world.

Meanwhile, many people are asking whether the delay in the announcement of the Best Pop Group/Duo Award was done on purpose to garner millions of views.

Prior to their loss, the boyband took to the stage at the Grammys performing “Butter” in a showing that most definitely won over new fans. The performance had it all, including a massively viral moment with Olivia Rodrigo before V took to the stage to perform.

Considering the popularity of 'Butter', the septet were expected to bag top honours including Song of the Year and Record of the Year. However, the snub didn't go down too well with their global fandom - ARMY.

Besides slamming the award show, fans also suggested that the boys not attend the awards altogether claiming that the show was just 'using' their popularity.

The global sensation was also nominated for “Dynamite” last year but similarly fell short and lost out to Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande's 'Rain On Me'.
