No-trust move: Uncertainty prevails among Opposition MPs owing to delay in voting
The voting is scheduled to take place today on the directives of the Supreme Court
Islamabad: The uncertainty prevailed among the legislatotrs of the joint Opposition on Saturday after the National Assembly Speaker kept delaying the voting process on the no-confidence motion resolution against Prime Minister Imran Khan.
The session, that has been continuing since 12:30pm, witnessed a series of speeches from both the treasury and opposition benches.
It is yet not clear whether or not the voting would take place, but top leaders-- Shhabz Sharif and Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari-- had already demanded to initiate the process of voting in the light of the Supreme Court's verdict.
It is reported that the officials of the National Assembly Secretariat are also perplexed about the ongoing session.
