NA all set to elect new PM today
The house will meet at 02:00 p.m today.
Islamabad: The National Assembly will elect a new Prime Minister today, after the passage of a no-confidence motion against Imran Khan.
The National Assembly Secretariat has accepted the nomination papers of President Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Shehbaz Sharif and Vice-Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Shah Mahmood Qureshi for the slot.
The house will meet at 02:00 p.m today.
It is pertinent to mention here that the Parliament had removed Prime Minister Imran Khan through a vote of no-confidence on late Saturday night. As many as 174 members of the Opposition voted to dismiss Imran Khan from the office.
