Galle: Sri Lanka set up 342 runs ‘mammoth’ target for Pakistan batting lineup during Galle’s first Test between hosts and Babar-XI.

Pakistan openers have a mountain to climb and history is against them.

Kasun Rajitha will start proceedings for Sri Lanka.

It took Pakistan just four overs this morning to dislodge the last standing pair of Sri Lanka on the fourth day.

Commentators said that the damage has already been done by impactful innings by Lankan players that kept on making runs on Day 3.

Dinesh Chandimal scored again with an unbeaten 94, the first time he's been left stranded in the 90s in his career.

He stitched together stubborn stands with the tail to put Sri Lanka in a commanding position. Before that, Oshada Fernando and Kusal Mendis contributed excellently to Sri Lanka's cause.

For Pakistan, Mohammad Nawaz was the pick of the bowlers taking 5 for 88, his best figures in Tests. We'll be back with Pakistan's chase in about ten minutes.
