PDMA to start survey of flood-affected areas in Punjab from Monday

184 flood relief camps were established in the flood-hit areas

Islamabad: The Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) Punjab will start a survey of flood-affected areas from Monday.

According to the spokesperson of PDMA, Pakistan Army, urban units, district administration, and other institutions will be the part of survey teams.

He said the government is committed to conduct a transparent survey by using digital techniques.

Talking about the relief activities in flood-affected areas, he said PDMA has distributed ration to more than seventy-four thousand flood-affected families.

He said one hundred and eighty-four flood relief camps were established in the flood-hit areas, among which sixty-four relief camps are still operational.
