A case was registered against the runaway suspects

Lahore: An alleged robber was killed in a crossfire with the Organised Crime Unit Civil Lines in Gujjarpura area of the provincial capital, police said on Monday.
Police said the suspect identified as Malik Imran Sabir was being transported to a location in Gujjarpura to make further arrests where his accomplices opened fire on police. Police claimed that the suspect was killed by the firing of his accomplices.
The suspected succumbed to his wounds while on the way to a hospital. The body was shifted for autopsy and legal formalities. The police said Malik Imran had killed four people in Kahna, Ghaziabad, Mughalpura and Harbanspura.
A case was registered against the runaway suspects.
