Imran Ashraf slams Shaniera over ‘copying Feroze in solidarity’ remarks
Imran responded to Shaniera Akram’s story while sharing a minute-long video message.
Karachi: Pakistan's acclaimed actor Imran Ashraf cleared the air regarding the ongoing spat between Shaniera Akram— wife of Pakistan’s former cricketer Wasim Akram— and Feroze Khan, stating that he should not be dragged into a matter he had nothing to do with.
Turning to Instagram, the Ranjha Ranjha Kardi star responded to Shaniera Akram’s story while sharing a minute-long video message.
Shaniera’s story had a screenshot of Imran’s video with his son, whose caption read: “Now people are copying Feroze Khan in solidarity! Please say this is wrong or little lives are at risk”.
Imran wrote, “BISMILLAH. An answer to the people who own me, my viewers. Listen the whole thing. Please wear seat belts. To my well-wishers, please refrain from saying any harsh words to bhabhi (sister-in-law) Shaniera. Thank you”.
In the video clip, the actor stated that he was only parking the car and not driving it, requesting Shaneria to stop involving him in her ongoing controversy with Feroze Khan.
The Raqse Bismil actor added that he had not tagged anyone or penned any statement that could give the impression of him showing any sort of solidarity with Feroze Khan.
He has only shared the video the way he usually shares with his son.
He further added that he and his family are going through a tough time and, hence, should not be dragged into such inconsiderateness.
A few days back, the Maula Jutt actress and Feroze Khan’s sister, Humaima Malick posted a video on social media of Khan driving with his daughter, while sitting on the driving seat.
The video, somehow, provoked Shaniera Akram following which she shared a series of Instagram stories, trying to school Khuda Aur Mohobat actor— pointing out that not wearing a seatbelt could allegedly put your child in danger.
This led to an online spat between the actor and the cricketer’s wife.
