HBL PSL 8: Lahore Qalandars qualify for final

Mirza Baig scored 54 off 42 balls and Sam Billings made 28 runs off 21 balls and led Qalandars to successfully chase the target of 172 runs in the second Eliminator match of HBL PSL 8 at Gaddafi Stadium tonight.

Lahore: Lahore Qalandars reached final by beating Peshawar Zalmi by four wickets in the second Eliminator match of HBL Pakistan Super League 8 at Gaddafi Stadium tonight.

Mirza Baig was the top scorer as he made 54 runs off 42 balls and led his side to successfully chase the target of 172 runs set by Peshawar Zalmi.

With the defeat, Zalmi is out of the race now in the mega event. 

Earlier,  Zalmi set 172-run target for Lahore Qalandars in the second Eliminator of HBL Pakistan Super League 8 at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore tonight. 

Muhamamd Haris made 84 runs off 54 balls and Babar Azam 42 runs off 36 balls, and they took their side to a strong position in clash with Lahore Qalandars. 

Lahore Qalandars, the defending champions, lost the Qualifier against Multans on Wednesday but tonight match is another chance for them for the final.
