Lahore: Pakistani actress Armeena Rana Khan's husband, Faisal Rehman Khan, has demanded an apology from the (N) League for posting pictures of his wife and daughter on the party's social media account.

In addition to Armeena's husband, actor Osman Khalid Butt and several social media users also demanded that the actress's image be deleted from the (N) League's social media account.

Armeena's husband, Faisal Rehman, tweeted, "The (N) League leadership, you are responsible for this account. You posted a picture of my beloved daughter to troll my wife. You have crossed all limits of decency."

They wrote, "I have no interest in Pakistani politics for myself and my daughter, but as a father, I will ensure the safety of my child. I apologize immediately for my actions." Some other individuals also requested the immediate deletion of the mentioned picture.

The dispute began when a supporter of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Shayan Ali, shared a video post of the senior vice president of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Maryam Nawaz, which went viral on social media. In the video, the lady had an inappropriate conversation with Maryam Nawaz while asking her to take a selfie.

Armeena Khan reacted to this video and said, "If this had happened in Pakistan, the lady taking the selfie would have disappeared. I am glad that we have such freedom in our Britain, where we hold our politicians accountable. If you are going to live on British soil, then these are our principles, and we have the freedom to speak."

Many users criticized Armeena's tweet and said that it is not freedom of expression but rather an act of humiliation and cheap action.
