Ethiopian MoS to discuss bilateral issues in Pakistan

Karachi: An Ethiopian official delegation led by Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Misganu Arega, has arrived in Karachi, on a three-day official visit to Pakistan.

The delegation includes Ethiopia's Ministers of State for Science and Innovation and Trade and Regional Integration, and members of business community.

During the visit, Embassy of Ethiopia will be opened in Islamabad and direct flights will be launched between Karachi and Addis Ababa by Ethiopian Airlines.

The two sides will discuss a range of bilateral issues of mutual interest, with a focus on trade and cooperation in science and technology.

It is pertinent to note that first direct flight of Ethiopian Airlines, the largest airline network in Africa, to Karachi, Pakistan's largest city after 19 years, landed at the Jinnah International Airport on time this morning.

Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah and delegation welcomed the flight at Old Terminal, Provincial Ministers Sharjeel Memon, Nasir Shah, Ikramullah Dharijo and Murtaza Wahab also accompanied the Chief Minister.
