PACF free eye camp conducts 253 operations in Kabul
PACF and Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan free eye camp successfully conducted 253 surgeries.
Kabul: In a collaborative effort between the Pak Afghan Cooperation Forum (PACF) and Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan, a free eye camp in Kabul has successfully performed 253 surgeries on Afghan nationals.
The surgeries took place from June 7 to 14 at the Noor Eye Hospital.
The surgical procedures included 12 cornea transplants, one tectonic graft surgery, 44 oculoplastic surgeries, 26 vitreoretinal surgeries, and 170 cataract surgeries.
Additionally, the outpatient department of the hospital has treated a total of 4,500 Afghan individuals.
