ECP contempt case: PTI Chief, Fawad, Asad to be indicted on July 11

Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman, Fawad Chaudhry and Asad Umar will be indicted on July 11 in contempt case of Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), GNN reported.

According to details, four-member bench headed by ECP member Nisar Durrani heard the case in the presence of lawyer Faisal Chaudhry.

Nisar Durrani inquired Faisal Chaudhry if the parties are present in the court. Responding to which the lawyer said: “I have not been informed about the hearing, I came here as per diary schedule”.

After which ECP decided to indict PTI Chief, Fawad Chauhdry and Asad Umar and postponed the hearing till July 11.

Moreover, ECP also declined the objections raised by PTI.
