Shaheens all set to travel to Sri Lanka tomorrow

Lahore: Shaheen's will travel to Sri Lanka early Tuesday morning to prepare for the ACC Men's Emerging Team Asia Cup, which will be held in Colombo from 13-23 July.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced today that Pakistan's team will travel from Lahore to Dubai via Dubai to Sri Lanka.

Shaheen is in Group B with India A, Nepal and UAE A. The Shaheens will open the season against Nepal on 14 July, followed by UAEA on 17 July and India A on 19 July, with the top two teams in each group advancing to the semi-finals on 21 July. The finals of the tournament will take place on July 23rd.

Prior to the team's departure, the 15-strong squad, along with four non-expedition alternates, participated in a six-day camp at Lahore's National Cricket Academy. The players worked on various aspects related to 50 over cricket, including net sessions, under the supervision of a coaching staff led by head coach Mohammad Masrour.

In addition to 22-year-old Harris (five ODIs and nine T20Is), defending champion Pakistan will be served by seven cricketers who previously represented the Pakistani men's team. The representative players of the national team are as follows.
