UK issues travel advisory for its people in Pakistan

The British government has advised its citizens to be aware of extreme heat.

London: British government has issued new travel guidelines for its citizens living in different cities of Pakistan.

Issuing the advisory, the foreign government has instructed its people to avoid travel to most areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, including Peshawar, saying that there is a risk of terrorist attacks in Pakistan.

It also told them to not travel to Bajaur, Mohmand, Khyber, Orakzai, Kurram, North Waziristan and South Waziristan districts in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.

According to the advisory, travel to the districts of Charsadda, Kohat, Tank, Bannu, Lakki, Dera Ismail Khan, Swat, Buner and Lower Dir should also be avoided.

While they should be careful when traveling on the road the N45 from the north of Peshawar city and district Mardan ring road to the edge of district Chitral.

The British government said that citizens should not go to any area except the southern coast of Balochistan province of Pakistan.

They have been instructed to stay away from political demonstrations, as the advisory stated that there are anti-Western sentiments in some political demonstrations.

Apart from this, the British government has advised its citizens to be aware of extreme heat.
