Marriyum felicitates Talal as five-year disqualification sentence expires

Islamabad: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb Wednesday felicitated Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Talal Chaudhry on the expiry of his five-year disqualification sentence.

Turning to Twitter, she paid tributes to Talal Chaudhry for his ideological commitment, loyalty and affection to PML-N Quaid Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and the party.

Information Minister said Talal Chaudhry is now qualified after five years, while those who unjustly punished him stood disqualified for life in the eyes of the public and history.

Talal Chaudhry won not only in his conscience, but also in the court of time and people.

In another post, the minister wrote: “Both Daniyal Aziz and Talal Chaudhry were punished only because they were telling the truth at a time which was not acceptable to the people who were trying to minus the role of Nawaz Sharif”.

She prayed that May Allah bless both of them to become leaders in front of history and people.

They aced extremely unfavorable conditions but did not leave the path of truth nor did they leave the people of the constituency, and stood by their position, leadership and party, she added.

She again congratulated both the leaders and people of their constituency.
