Islamabad: Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) on Wednesday informed the public that they do not require the polio vaccination cards of passengers
The aviation authority issued a notification stating that there is no need for a polio vaccination card or certificate for travelers, and that people should disregard any offers to purchase the card online.
It was stated that the letter seen on various media platforms was an internal correspondence of Islamabad Airport which has been cancelled and the letter was in no way a travel advisory related to polio.
The authority urged the travelers to inquire about the country's health policies, including the requirement for polio immunization, from the airline they want to go on.
This CAA warning is intended to safeguard customers from online scams using the Polio Card as a front.
