Good news for Pakistani pilgrims to Iraq
It was agreed in the meeting to increase cooperation in various fields including counter-terrorism.
Baghdad: Iraq has abolished visa fees for Pakistani pilgrims.
According to details, federal Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah met Iraqi Prime Minister Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani in Baghdad, in which Iraqi Interior Minister Abdul Amir Al-Shammari also participated.
In the meeting of political leaders, it was agreed to increase cooperation in various fields including counter-terrorism.
During the meeting, it has also been decided to provide electronic visa facility to Pakistani investors, while at the same time, Iraq also announced the end of visa fee for Pakistani visitors.
Furthermore, the Iraqi Prime Minister has directed to ensure the early release of Pakistanis imprisoned in Iraqi jails for minor crimes and overstaying.
