He claimed after the apex court declared the Supreme Court (Review of Judgments and Orders) Act, 2023, unconstitutional.

Islamabad: Former law minister and Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz leader Azam Nazir Tarar has stated that frequent tampering with the authority of parliament is not a good tradition and weakens rather than strengthens the institutions.
He claimed after the apex court declared the Supreme Court (Review of Judgments and Orders) Act, 2023, unconstitutional.
In response to the Supreme Court's ruling, he claimed that the Constitution had established a system for managing governmental matters.
The dissolution of parliament yesterday (Thursday) and the subsequent announcement of a ruling (against the administration) infuriated Tarar. "Reviewing is unquestionably an option. Within 30 days, a review would be submitted, he continued.
The courts have a responsibility to render judgment and execute justice. According to the former minister, the constitution guarantees everyone the freedom to select a lawyer of their choice.
“There is another option; the coming assembly must legislate,” he continued.
He claimed that the case against former prime minister Nawaz Sharif was different. Everyone has the fundamental right to take part in politics. After the Election Act was changed, Tarar argued that the disqualification could not last more than five years.
According to the PML-N leader, the maximum disqualification time under Article 62 would be five years. "Nawaz Sharif and others who were disqualified for life under Article 184(3) have become eligible after five years under Election Act," he declared in his conclusion.
