ECP has asked the former chief ministers, ministers, advisers, members of the assembly to vacate the government houses.


Islamabad: The Chief Election Commissioner called a meeting to address the issue of constituencies today (Wednesday) at 11:00 am.
According to reports, the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) directed the federal and provincial caretaker governments to create the best environment for election and ordered to give a level playing field to every political party.
In the letter of Election Commission, it has been said that caretaker governments should ensure the support of the Commission for clear and transparent elections.
While ECP has asked the former chief ministers, ministers, advisers, members of the assembly to vacate the government houses and to return the government vehicles to all including the prime minister.
Apart from this, he directed the caretaker governments to run the day-to-day affairs of the federation and the provinces.
The Election Commission also wrote to the Chief Secretaries of Secretary Establishment Division, Sindh and Balochistan and ordered the transfer of administrative officers with the approval of Election Commission.
In the letter, it was written that all those administrative officers who can influence the elections should be changed.
