PPP leader Faisal Karim Kundi stated that the party wants free and fair elections held on one day throughout Pakistan.

Karachi: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) on Wednesday has demanded the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) to announce the general election date.
According to details, PPP leader Faisal Karim Kundi stated that the party wants free and fair elections held on one day throughout Pakistan.
He stated that the election plan must be released right away and that the ECP should not postpone the publication of the poll date.
According to the PPP leader, it is beyond their comprehension that people would be transferred or posted before the election date and delimitation procedure. So that their credibility cannot be questioned, the caretaker administration should hold free, transparent, and fair elections. Additionally, he said.
The forthcoming general election, according to PML-N leader and former interior minister Rana Sanaullah, would take place in February 2024.
The caretaker governments received directives from the Pakistani Election Commission (ECP) on Tuesday in advance of the upcoming elections.
