US Ambassador calls on Pak Air Chief
The conversation between the US ambassador and the Chief of the Air Staff of the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) reportedly included discussion of the regional security situation.
Islamabad: US Ambassador to Pakistan Donald Blome called on Pak Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu in his office on Thursday.
The conversation between the US ambassador and the Chief of the Air Staff of the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) reportedly included discussion of the regional security situation.
According to PAF spokesperson Marshal Sidhu and US Ambassador Blome also spoke on matters pertaining to bilateral and defense cooperation.
The dignitary praised PAF's extraordinary advancement throughout the years, particularly through indigenization, and the professionalism of PAF troops.
He also praised Pakistan for its efforts to advance peace in the region and offered to strengthen collaboration in a number of areas.
The Air Chief emphasized the friendly ties that exist between the two nations and reaffirmed his commitment to strengthening their current bilateral cooperation.
CAS said, "Pakistan values its strong defense, economic, and diplomatic ties with the United States of America, which are based on agreement on all crucial matters pertaining to regional peace, security, and stability.
