After petrol price hike, everyday vegetables get expensive

After the increase in the prices of petroleum products, daily consumed vegetable prices witnessed a hike.

Lahore: Following the increase in prices of petroleum products, the prices of daily consumed vegetables have started to increase.

In the market, onion is selling at Rs90 per kg, potato at Rs80 per kg, capsicum at Rs200 per kg, tomato at Rs120 per kg and okra at Rs150 per kg.

Shopkeepers say that because of the petrol hike, the fares have increased, due to which the rates of vegetables have to be increased.

Citizens are demanding relief for the common man by reducing the rates of vegetables.
